Airbnb Local Mail Listener
A private desktop tool used by its operator to monitor Airbnb notification emails for properties they manage.
The tool requests read-only Gmail access to identify relevant notifications and trigger verification in the operator’s signed-in Airbnb website. Gmail access is not used to send email, delete messages, or change mailbox settings. The current Gmail read-only permission can technically read mailbox content; local filtering limits routine processing to relevant Airbnb notifications.
Relevant notification excerpts and website context may be processed through the operator’s configured OpenAI Work/Codex service. Routine replies are restricted to the operator’s explicit instructions and narrowly configured authorizations. This application is independently operated and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Airbnb or Google.
The public information website does not require Gmail authorization and does not receive mailbox data or OAuth tokens.
Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before authorizing the application.
